A minimum of four contestants must be entered and judged for a class 1st to be considered in level advancements protocols
A contestant placing and defeating someone in a regular class, in open division, at any show is prohibited from Competition in intermediate or entry division
A contestant placing and defeating someone in a regular class, in intermediate division, at any show is prohibited from competing in entry division.
All divisions are judged simultaneously. Three placements are awarded in each division.
Acceptable coat growth for all GT sanctioned classes:
It is the responsibility of the show promoter and /or their designated judges to determine adequate coat growth.
Acceptable Styling for all GT sanctioned classes:
No Coat Coloring is permitted.
Acceptable Breeds: All Sizes, natural colors of purebred poodles.

Time Frame: 2:00 (Two Hours)
All first time competitors will be evaluated at the end of each class. Best First Timer will be chosen from the first time competitors from each of the Groups: Wire Coat Class, Salon Freestyle, Sporting, Poodle, Model Dog, and All Other Purebred. . The group first time winners should remain in the arena with their dog, for evaluation by the Best First Timer judge(s). The winner will need to return (with dog) to Best in Show Awards Presentation at designated time and place. Those winners not present for final judging will not be eligible.
Tag, You're It: This is a three (3) person team challenge.
Competitors must arrive with overgrown dog, with at least six (6) weeks of growth and then groom it to breed profile or create a totally different breed or style. This is an intense competition with major amounts of hair left on the floor! This is dramatic grooming at its best! Out of the three (3) groomers only one groomer can groom at any given time until 30minute alert goes off for next groomer to step in. During the final 30 minutes you can switch off as many times as you want but only one groomer can work on the dog at any given time. Choose your team and time positions for groomer wisely.

A groomer can compete with any purebred or mixed-breed dog
The judge will be looking for the most dramatic transformation in appearance and styling skill precision.
All grooming must take place in the ring with clippers, shears or other grooming tools.
No coloring permitted.
For sanitary reasons, facial hair may be trimmed up to four weeks prior to the contest date. Genital, stomach area and pads may be trimmed prior to the competition.
Growth requirement: at least 6 weeks or 3 inches of coat – the more hair, the better!
Time limit: 2 hours all sizes
IF DOG IS EVER LEFT UNATTENDED ON TABLE, TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED
